Writing articles to make money online is one way of doing this. There are people such as information marketers who know that there are lots (millions) of people making searches for free. They know that if they write short articles and people consume the information there is a good chance they will go on to buy a product from the information the marketer in question is selling and will become a life long customer.

It is for this reason that information marketers will pay for articles to be written by you that relates to their selling topic or niche. This in turn is going to be their customers interest. The pay can be rewarding depending on the quality and quantity of the articles that you write

So what will you start writing about? It really depends on your interest and therefore something that you are excited about like or hobby or interest.
When you have picked your chosen topic then start looking for marketers who have internet business ideas and are selling products online relating to your area of interest. You can try searches on Google and also put together a short list of or marketers and gather contact information from their web sites and sales pages. You may have decided to start a home based business using the powers of the internet. Did you know there are 3 main ways to really make money on the internet


1. First Option is to become an affiliate



This the quickest way to start a home based business. This is because you do not need to create your own products or have your own website or support to customers.

You do need to find some quality products that cure a specific problem that people will gladly pay to have solved. You then help the person selling the product to promote their product by signing up to their affiliate program.

Typically you will typically earn 50% of every sale that you generate as an affiliate. In addition as an affiliate you can usaually use promotional tools provided by the person selling the product.

2. Second option is to create your own product

Another way to start a home based business on the internet is to create your own product. It may not be so concerning and could in the form of an audio interview, a short report,an ebook and a video. The main thing is that it needs to provide a solution to a specific problem. The only limit on how you deliver your content within your product is your imagination.

It might take some time to create your first product - If this is your first time tackling anything like this. However for example if you don't like writing then I would definitely suggest a video, or audio interview. Of course the advantage of this compared to becoming an affiliate is that you can sell your product and keep 100% of the profits as it is your product. Soon you will be creating a long-term business asset that will be more profitable for you in the long run.

The best way to look at this is to think you could be one of many affiliate promoting someone else's product. Or you could have many affiliates promoting your product. What would your prefer?

3. Create a membership site

Another popular method for people who are looking into how to start a home based business on the internet is to create a membership site. The great thing about this is that you can create a residual income for yourself and rely on repeat custom from the same people. In other words you gain your customer and keep your customer with monthly revenues. This means that you don't have to put so much effort into finding more customers because you'll have continual payments coming in from the same people every month.

What's more, a membership site doesn't necessarily have to provide written content, or even learning of any kind (although many do.) It could simply be a paid forum where members can congregate and network for a small monthly fee.
